Having spent a duration of four years playing in Russia, Fameyeh has conveyed his openness to the concept, saying, “I am prepared to accept a Russian passport if it is granted to me,” during an interview with Match TV.

At 26 years old, the footballer finds himself on the outskirts of the Ghana national team. Across six international matches representing his country, Fameyeh has achieved a total of two goals.

This pursuit of obtaining Russian nationality has the potential to unlock fresh prospects for his footballing career.

Fameyeh’s initial involvement with Orenburg was followed by three seasons at Rubin Kazan, his current club, where he has established himself as a pivotal player. Demonstrating a strong start to the new season, he has secured two goals in four matches.
