Reason why Jojo Wollacott didn’t make matchday squad against Central African Republic

Ghana Black Stars first choice goalkeeper Joseph Wollacott missed out on the matchday squad for the Central African Republic game, he was replaced by Lawrence Ati-Zigi.



Sahara Football understands the player took ill on their way to Angola and was deemed unwell to play in the AFCON Qualifiers game.

The player, however, is responding to treatment and will definitely fly with the team to Japan for the Kiri Cup 4-nation tournament.

Jojo Wollacott was in post in the first game on Wednesday when Ghana beat Madagascar 3-0 at the Cape Coast Stadium.
