Osei Tutu Agyemang appointed as chairman of the (LOC) of the WAFU Zone B U-20 Women’s Cup of Nations

Osei Tutu Agyemang has been appointed as chairman of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the WAFU Zone B U-20 Women’s Cup of Nations in Kumasi.

The Ghana Football Aassociation has revealed that, Chairman of the Ashanti Regional Football Association Osei Tutu Agyemang has been appointed as chairman of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the WAFU.

In a statement, the GFA revealed:  “Chairman of the Ashanti Regional Football Association Osei Tutu Agyemang has been appointed as chairman of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the WAFU Zone B U-20 Women’s Cup of Nations in Kumasi.”

“The LOC is expected to provide oversight, support and advice to the tournament organisers on planning and execution.”

“Part of their responsibility is to source for funds for the organization and also provide local operational needs to the organisers for a successful tournament.”

“Executive Council member and Bechem United Chief Executive Officer Kingsley Osei Bonsu will serve as vice chairman of the committee.”

Chief Executive Officer of Future Stars Stephen Appiah – Member

Ashtown Ladies Chief Executive Officer Frank Todd Amoah – Member

Hasaacas Ladies Chief Executive Officer Evelyn Nsiah Asare – Member

“Meanwhile Executive Council member and owner of Fabulous Ladies Madam Habiba Attah Forson will serve as a special adviser to the Local Organizing Committee.”

“The 1st edition of the WAFU B Women’s U-20 Cup of Nations is scheduled for Kumasi from Saturday, May 20 to Sunday, June 04, 2023.”

“Seven countries, including Ghana have confirmed their participation in the tournament. They include Nigeria, Niger, Benin, Ivory Coast, Togo and Burkina Faso.”
