Medeama SC announce the signing of Tamale City captain Godknows Dzakpasu

Medeama SC have officially announced the completion of the signing of Godknows Dzakpasu, a highly-rated and talented midfielder, on a permanent contract.



Dzakpasu, who previously played for Tamale City, has agreed to a three-year deal with the Mauve and Yellows.

This signing marks the first addition to the squad for the Ghanaian champions as they prepare for the upcoming 2023-24 CAF Champions League campaign.

During his time with Tamale City, Dzakpasu showcased his skills, scoring three goals in 30 appearances.

In an interview with the club’s official website, he expressed his excitement about joining Medeama and his eagerness to contribute to the club’s progress.

Dzakpasu acknowledged the ambitious nature of the club and expressed his readiness to work hard and achieve positive results alongside the coaching staff and his teammates.

Head Coach Augustine Evans Adotey praised Dzakpasu’s qualities, describing him as an exciting midfielder who brings versatility to the team.

Adotey stated that the club closely monitored Dzakpasu’s performance and firmly believes that he will be a valuable addition to the squad.

The club is thrilled to have secured Dzakpasu on a permanent contract, recognizing his talent and viewing Medeama as a crucial stepping stone in his career.

Despite experiencing relegation with Tamale City, Dzakpasu stood out as one of the outstanding players in the team.
