France forward Kylian Mbappe wins World Cup Golden Boot award, beating Messi
France lost the final against Argentina on penalties after a heavily contested natch which lasted 120 minutes.
Mbappe scored three goals in the final which brought his goal tally to 8 goals in the tournament.

He beat fellow PSG teammate Lionel Messi to the award. Messi scored a brace on the final to finsh with 7 goals.
Mbappe is the first French man to win the award after it was introduced .
He is the fifth ever player to score in multiple World Cup finals and also the second ever to score in back-to back finals.
