Hans Nunoo Sarpei parts ways with Ingolstadt

Ghanaian midfielder, Hans Nunoo Sarpei has parted ways with Ingolstadt.


Ingolstadt and Hans Sarpei have mutually agreed on early termination of contract with immediate effect.

Hans Sarpei joined Ingolstadt from the then Bundesliga side, Greuther Furth after helping them secure promotion to the Bundesliga.

Sarpei went on to make 39 appearances for Schanzer as a defensive midfielder scoring once and assisting once as well.

The strong ball playing defensive midfielder is a household name in German football after leading two clubs to the Bundesliga.

Sarpei first moved to Germany in 2016 from Liberty Professionals Academy in Ghana to sign for VFB Stuttgart.

He was sent on loan to Slovakian side, FK Senica where his performance caught the eye of many clubs.  Greuther Furth signed Sarpei in 2020.

At  Greuther Furth, Sarpei was instrumental in qualifying the team to the Bundesliga after a fantastic second season. He featured in the Bundesliga for  Greuther Furth before moving to  Ingolstadt .

Hans is expected to find a new club before the window closes as he is being sort after by clubs in Germany, Spain, France and Turkey.
