This Blood Donation initiative bears special significance as it is an integral part of the events planned to celebrate the 50th anniversary milestone of the Ghana Tourism Authority.

For the GFA Foundation, this undertaking is in harmony with their annual goals and the broader scope of the GFA Employee Volunteer Programme.

Both entities recognize the urgent requirement for a substantial supply of safe and efficacious blood and blood derivatives in medical institutions across the nation.

This supply is vital for medical and surgical interventions, encompassing treatments for complications arising during childbirth, severe anemia among children, and various medical procedures.

The GFA Foundation urges the entire football and sports community to actively partake in this blood donation initiative.

This call includes GFA and RFAs staff, football club managers, coaches, players, sports enthusiasts, members of fitness clubs, unions, associations, and stakeholders within the sports ecosystem.
