Nombil was previously without a club since his departure from Israeli club Hapoel Jerusalem when his contract expired on June 30, 2022.

In his most recent stint, Nombil spent time on loan at Hapoel Kfar Saba, where he made 13 appearances in the Israeli second-tier and impressively scored twice during his time there.

Prior to his loan to Kfar Saba, he featured in 18 matches for Jerusalem in the Israeli Premier League, playing a crucial role in helping the team secure promotion to the top-flight.

Nombil’s arrival at Petržalka is seen as a crucial addition to their squad, as the club aims to achieve promotion to the Slovakian top-flight in the upcoming season.

It’s worth noting that Nombil previously had a spell with Czech club Sparta Prague U19 side during the 2018-19 campaign, where he was on loan from his home club, Dreams FC in Ghana.
