Bibiani Gold Stars climb to top of GPL after defeating RTU on match day 9
Gold Stars are unbeaten in their last five games in the GPL. The newly promoted side climbed to the top of the GPL after defeating RTU 1-0 on match day 9.
They are joint leaders with Aduana Stars, who have a game in hand against Great Olympics in Accra on Tuesday.

Noah Martey scored the only goal of the match in the 29th minute to give the home side at Dun’s Park. RTU have been struggling away from home this season and the story was no different.
The midfielder’s goal was enough to send Michael Osei’s boys to the top of the GPL temporarily.
Real Tamale United are still 11th on the table and will host Kotoku Royals on New Year’s Day fixture.
Gold Stars will travel to Berekum on 1 January 2023 to play Berekum Chelsea on match day 10 of the GPL.
