Former Black Stars midfielder Michael Essien took time off to visit the team ahead of the tie against Trinidad and Tobago in the 2025 Unity Cup tournament. The former Chelsea player was welcomed by the technical team led by Otto Addo, vice chairman of the management committee, Stephen Appiah.
