The Russian based centre back is the heart and sould of the Black Stars defence and would be a huge miss for the team.

Luckassen, who made his senior debut for Ghana in the international friendly against Germany in March, has been called to team up with the team in Wales for the friendly game.

The 30-year-old  plies his trade with Cypriot giants Pafos FC  and is expected to shure up the defence in the absence of Djiku.
