Nations FC will participate in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup after being crowned champions of the MTN FA Cup.

The Abrankese-based club have somewhat of a bitter experience in the 2025/6 campaign having being relegated from the Ghana Premier League.

Joseph Effah opened the scoring on the 31st minute after getting on the end of a header from Antwi Sarpong to head past Rahman Osman.

Top goal scorer in the MTN FA Cup , Abdul Razak Salifu headed a well curated teasing cross from Al-Hajj Oumar Nauffal beyond the reach of goalkeeper Abraham Odonkor for the 1-1.

The second half failed to produce any goals between the two teams.

After a nervy encounter in the  extra time no goals were produced with the game heading to penalties.

Nations edged it 5-4 on penalties which saw them creating a lasting memory despite being relegation bound.
