The eighteen (18) clubs set to compete in the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League have officially been confirmed for the new season.
The three newly promoted clubs, Debibi United,Ashantigold ’04, and Port City, qualified for the Premier League after winning their respective zones, one, two, and three.
Medeama SC will go head-to-head with other clubs as they begin their quest to defend their 2025/26 title.
The league was marred by the withdrawal of Hohoe United and the notable demotion of Nations FC and Eleven Wonders to the Division One League.
The new Ghana Premier League season will kick off over the weekend of September 4–7, 2026, and conclude on the weekend of May 28–31, 2027.
