Hearts of Oak Shut Down Transfer Rumours Surrounding Star Goalkeeper Benjamin Asare. Accra, July 15, 2026.
The Accra-based club released a detailed statement squashing swirling media and social media speculation about a possible transfer of their talented goalkeeper, Benjamin Asare.
“These reports are false and without factual basis,” the statement read. “Accra Hearts of Oak has not placed any valuation on Benjamin Asare.”
The club, one of Ghana’s most storied football institutions, released an official statement expressing pride in Asare’s recent heroics for the Black Stars at the FIFA World Cup, where his performances have reportedly caught the eye of several bigger clubs.
However, Hearts made it crystal clear: no transfer valuation has been placed on the player, and no authorisation has been given to any individual or media outlet to discuss fees or an asking price.
The club emphasised that while they remain open to receiving serious offers that serve the best interests of both the player and the team, no official valuation or negotiations have been communicated at this time. Any figures circulating online or in the press, they warned, are purely speculative.
Benjamin Asare and the management will review offers and determine the next chapter of his career.
