    France got their pound of flesh as they took Senegal to the cleaners in a nail bitting game at the the New York New Jersey Stadium.
    For France, it was an opportunity to get one back at Senegal, twenty-four years ago, where they were beaten by a lone goal in Seoul.

    The first half failed to produce any goals with the West African side guilty of missing numerous chances through Nicholas Jackson, Ismaila Sarr.
    The game sprang to life in the 66th minute as the enterprising Michael Olise pass found  Kylian Mbappé, who made a yard for himself before shooting pass Edouard Mendy to put *Les Bleus* ahead.

    2018 World Cup winner,  Deschamps brough on Bradley Barcola subbed for Ousmane Dembélé in the 80th minute.
    Two minutes later, Adrien Rabiot through-ball found Bracola who exquisitely dinked it over Mendy for 2-0.
    In additional time, 16-year-old Senegalese prodigy Ibrahim Mbaye proved his mettle as he wriggled past his marker and blasted a ferrocios shot past Mike Maignan to give the Lions of Teranga a late lifeline.

    Kylian Mbappé unleashed a stunning 30-yard rocket into the top corner before Seengal could harbour any hopes of a comeback.
