Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku has made an audacious claim that the Black Stars will conquer all their opponents.
Th team is housed in Group L alongside, England, Croatia and Panama.
The team is making its fifth appeearance at the World Cup with many having low expectations considering how the team has fared in recent friendly games.
Speaking to members of the Ghanaian community in the United States, Okraku was confident in the team’s abilities to cause an upset in the global tournament.
“We have three opponents at this World Cup: Panama, England, and Croatia. We will crush all of them,” he said.
The Black Stars begin their campaign against Panama on Wednesday at BMO Field in Toronto, before taking on England at Gillette Stadium on June 23 and Croatia on June 27.
