    Black Starlets beat South Africa’s Amajimbos in their final Group D encounter at the 2026 TotalEnergies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
    Captain Joseph Narbi scored two penalties in the first half to help the team to a two-goal lead.

    Latif Wunzalgu was brought down as early as the sixth minute with Joseph Narbi  converting for the breakthrough.
    The West African team continued to dominate proceedings as they got their second goal after Qotoyi handled the ball in the penalty box. Joseph Narbi stepped up and scored.
    Ghana ended the first half with two goals in the bag.

    Thandanani Mhlongo got on a sweet cross-field pass from Jesse Gewer, outmuscling Gabriel Denyinah to halve the deficit in the 65th minute.
    Zazi Qotoyi was handed his marching orders in the 83rd minute of the game.

    Second-half substitute Augustine Appiah was teed up by Eric Gyamfi for the third goal of the game.
    The Black Starlets ended the game on a winning note, 3-1 against South Africa’s Amajimbos.
