Current Champions Nigeria suffered a 2-1 defeat against South Africa in their first game of the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations currently ongoing in Morocco.

Jermaine Seoposenwe and Hildah Tholakele scored for South Africa while Rasheedat Ajibade pulled one back for the Super Falcons.
