    Ampem Darkoa staged an impressive comeback to overturn a first half lead to beat Hasaacas Ladies 2-1 in the 2025/26 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League final at the Swedru Stadium.

     



    Abiba Issah scored the first goal of the game in the  38th minute to set the tone for teh game.

    The Sekondi-based team held on to their narrow 1-0 lead to end the first half.

    Twelve minutes after recess, there was a paradigm shift in the game, Okyere Priscilla struck the equalizer in the 57th minute with a well placed finish.

    With seven minutes to end proceedings, Gloria Adomako Ameaa shot her side into the lead for a dramatic turn around.

    Ampem Darkoa held on to the lead despite the late surge for an equalizer to seal a 2-1 victory and claim the championship.
