Swedru All Blacks will go host Asante Kotoko in a key early-season Ghana Premier League clash as both sides look to build momentum.Swedru Sports Stadium at 15:00 GMT

The Black Magicians sit 13th with 5 points from five matches (1 win, 2 draws, 2 losses). They are searching for a response after a three-game winless run, capped by a 2-1 defeat at Aduana FC last weekend where they surrendered an early lead. At home, however, All Blacks remain unbeaten this season (one win and one draw) and will draw confidence from last season’s 2-1 victory over Kotoko at the same venue.

Asante Kotoko occupy 8th place with 8 points (2 wins, 2 draws, 1 loss). The Porcupine Warriors ended a two-game winless streak with a hard-fought 1-0 home win over Karela United and are now hunting their first away victory of the campaign (they have drawn both previous road games). They have scored six and conceded six so far.

The fixture has a competitive recent history. League meetings between the sides have rarely been drawn, and All Blacks got the better of Kotoko twice in 2025/26, including a dramatic final-day 2-1 win at the Baba Yara Stadium that helped secure their survival.
