Accra Elite Football Academy has strengthened its leadership structure with the appointment of renowned football administrator Aicha Amoako Denteh as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Denteh joins the academy with extensive experience spanning football administration, team coordination, player welfare, and international football operations, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the development of the academy’s football project.
She previously served as Team Manager and Welfare Officer of Ghana’s U-20 Women’s National Team, the Black Princesses, where she played a key role in the team’s preparations and participation at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.
Her experience within women’s football also includes her time as Team Manager of Berry Ladies FC, where she contributed to the organisation and management of one of Ghana’s leading women’s football clubs.
At the continental level, Denteh has gained valuable exposure through her work as a Liaison Officer and Translator during major CAF competitions, including the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup, supporting coordination between teams, officials and stakeholders from different countries.
Beyond her hands-on football experience, the new Accra Elite Football Academy CEO has further enhanced her professional profile through training in Sports Communication, Sponsorship and Marketing, as well as Human Resource Management in Morocco.
Her ability to communicate in English, French and German adds another dimension to her profile, particularly as football continues to become increasingly global.
Accra Elite Football Academy believes Denteh’s combination of administrative expertise, international exposure and understanding of football operations will help drive the academy’s growth and strengthen its structures.
Her appointment marks a new phase for the academy as it seeks to expand its football development programme, create more opportunities for young talents and build a sustainable pathway for aspiring footballers.
With her experience and leadership qualities, Aicha Amoako Denteh begins her tenure as CEO with the task of helping shape the future direction of Accra Elite Football Academy.
