Ghana international Caleb Yirenkyi is inches away from joining Premier League newcomers Coventry City from Danish outfit FC Nordsjaelland.
The proposed transfer is understood to be worth up to €30 million, comprising an initial €27 million fee and a further €3 million in performance-related bonuses.
The move represents another remarkable milestone in the meteoric rise of the 20-year-old, who has developed into one of the most sought-after young midfielders in European football.
Yirenkyi enjoyed a breakthrough campaign with FC Nordsjaelland during the 2025/26 season and continued with the Black Stars at the World Cup, scoring the first goal against Panama.
Coventry City will hope to rely on the technical abilities of the talented midfielder, who will set the world ablaze for years to come.
