Coach Nani and Cabfix Ladies FC have mutually agreed to part ways after a season that saw the club record significant progress, produce standout performances and make important strides in Ghana women’s football.

The coach took charge of Cabfix Ladies during the pre-season period ahead of the 2025/2026 campaign, leading the technical direction of the Bubuashie-based club as they prepared for a season of competition in the GARFA Women’s Division One League, cup competitions and youth development programmes.

His early impact was evident during the 2025 Cheetah Cup, where he guided Cabfix Ladies to a bronze medal finish, setting the tone for a campaign that would see the team compete strongly across different competitions.

Under his guidance, Cabfix Ladies enjoyed a competitive league campaign, finishing third in their group after 14 matches. The team recorded seven wins, two draws and five defeats, a performance that provides a strong foundation as the club continues its push for promotion to the Ghana Women’s Premier League.

One of Coach Nani’s biggest achievements came with the Cabfix Ladies U-15 side, where he guided the team to the final of the maiden FIFA-backed U-15 Girls Greater Accra Regional Colts League.

The young team produced an impressive unbeaten run, winning five and drawing one of their six matches, topping their group to secure a place in the final.

Coach Nani also led Cabfix Ladies to notable cup performances, including a memorable 1-0 victory over Women’s Premier League side Oak Ladies in the round of 64 of the national Women’s FA Cup. The result was one of the standout moments of the club’s season, before a narrow 2-1 defeat to Jonina Ladies ended their run in the round of 32.

In the GARFA Women’s FA Cup, Cabfix Ladies progressed beyond the round of 16 before bowing out at the quarterfinal stage.

Beyond results on the pitch, Coach Nani’s tenure coincided with a period of growing recognition for Cabfix Ladies, particularly through player development.

Goalkeeper Belinda Maku Aklie earned opportunities with Ghana’s national youth teams, representing the Black Maidens during the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers and later receiving a call-up to the Black Princesses, Ghana’s U-20 women’s national team.

Young forward Jessica Beni also made the club proud after representing Ghana’s Black Damsels at the CAF African Schools Football Championship in Zimbabwe, where Ghana successfully defended their title.

These milestones reflected the growing pathway being created at Cabfix Ladies, with players gaining national recognition while the club continued to establish itself as a competitive force in women’s football.

As Coach Nani begins the next chapter of his coaching career, his time at Cabfix Ladies will be remembered for youth development, competitive performances and his contribution to the club’s continued growth.

Cabfix Ladies FC will now look ahead to the next phase of its journey, while Coach Nani moves on with a record of experience and achievements from his time with the club.
