Ampem Darkoa Ladies are champions of the 2025/26 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League after a hard-fought 2-1 comeback victory over Hasaacas Ladies at the Swedru Sports Stadium.
In a highly anticipated final played on Sunday, April 19, Hasaacas Ladies took the lead in the first half through Abiba Issah, setting the tone for what looked like a strong finish for the Sekondi-based side.

The triumph sees Ampem Darkoa Ladies secure their fifth league title, drawing level with Hasaacas Ladies, with both clubs now tied as the most successful teams in the history of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League.
The match, which kicked off at 2:30pm, lived up to expectations as both sides renewed their fierce rivalry in yet another league final showdown.
