JAC Tryton Motors has strengthened its involvement in Ghana football after officially signing sponsorship agreements with Ghana Women’s Premier League side Jonina Ladies and newly promoted Ghana Premier League club Debibi United FC.
The agreements were formalised at the company’s head office on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, bringing together officials of JAC Tryton Motors, representatives of both clubs, players, coaches, football administrators, members of the media and other stakeholders.
The partnership represents support for both the women’s and men’s games, with the company committing to initiatives aimed at promoting talent development, professionalism and the sustainable growth of football in Ghana.
For Jonina Ladies, the sponsorship provides an important boost as the club continues to compete at the highest level of Ghanaian women’s domestic football. The partnership also underlines the growing involvement of corporate organisations in supporting women’s football and creating opportunities for female players to develop.
Jonina Ladies have continued to establish themselves in the Ghana Women’s Premier League while nurturing some of the country’s promising talents. The club recently saw captain and Black Princesses forward Agnes Yeboah secure a permanent transfer to Chinese Women’s Super League side Guangdong Meizhou Women Football Club.
On the men’s side, Debibi United will also benefit from the partnership as they prepare for life in the Ghana Premier League following their promotion to the top flight.
The sponsorship agreements mark a significant investment across both sides of Ghanaian football and offer Jonina Ladies and Debibi United additional support as they pursue their respective ambitions in the upcoming season.
