The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced Gold Fields Ghana Limited as the new headline sponsor of the Ghana Women’s Premier League.

The partnership marks a significant step towards the continued growth and development of women’s football in Ghana, with the collaboration expected to enhance the league’s competitiveness, visibility, and sustainability.

Gold Fields Ghana Limited takes over as headline sponsor following the end of the successful partnership between the GFA and Malta Guinness, which played a key role in supporting the progress of the women’s top-flight league.

The new sponsorship agreement is expected to provide renewed energy and opportunities for clubs, players, and stakeholders as the league continues to build a stronger platform for women’s football.
The GFA has welcomed Gold Fields Ghana Limited into the Ghana football family and expressed appreciation for the company’s confidence in the future of the women’s game.

Further details on the sponsorship package, the unveiling of the new Ghana Women’s Premier League identity, and plans for implementation will be announced in due course.
