Mauritius referee Patrice Milazar to officiate Madagascar vs Ghana clash AFCON 2023 Qualifier.


Mauritian referee Patrice Milazar has been selected to officiate the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match between Madagascar and Ghana, which will take place next month.

Milazar, a FIFA referee, will be supported by his compatriots Ram Babajee (Assistant I), Jean Marc Jeff Pithia (Assistant II), and Ahmad Imtehaz Heeralall (Fourth Official).

The match will be overseen by Sinon Philip Georges from Seychelles as the Match Commissioner, while Rwanda’s Hudu Munyemana will serve as the Referee Assessor.

Helly Zafinimanga from Madagascar has been appointed as the pre-match ceremony coordinator.

The game is scheduled to be held at Stade Kianja Barea in Antananarivo on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at 5:00 pm.

Ghana currently occupies the top spot in Group E with 8 points after securing two wins against Madagascar and Angola, as well as two draws against the Central African Republic and Angola in the initial four qualifying matches.

The Black Stars will travel to Madagascar in June for the upcoming match, and their final qualifier will be against the Central African Republic in September.
