Hearts of Lions defender, Sakabutu Dickson has attributed the team’s first win of the campaign over Berekum Chelsea at the Hohoe Sports Stadium to sheer determination.

The newly promoted side had endured a rather torrid campaign after gaining promotion to the top-flight league which has seen them at the bottom of the league log with a paltry 11 points from 15 games.

According to hard-tackling defender, Sakabutu Dickson, they were determined to win today’s game and change their status on the league log.

Speaking to Saharafootball.net after the game, the defender spoke volumes of the team’s determination which ensured their win over Berekum Chelsea.

“We were determined to win at all cost, we took our early chances that came our way and that helped us to pick all the three points”

Sakabutu has been an integral figure in the Kpando-based club, making seven in 15 appearances for them.

He will hope the team builds on today’s win as they welcome Dreams FC in the next encounter of the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
