Ghana to play Namibia in friendly game in Kumasi

Ghana will play Namibia in a pre-AFCON friendly at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Monday, January 8, 2024 as part of the build up to the biennial showpiece in Cote D’Ivoire.



Both Ghana and Namibia will use the game to prepare for Africa’s flagship tournament that kicks off on Saturday, January 13, 2024 in Abidjan. Namibia, replacement for Botswana are expected to test the strength of Chris Hughton’s team ahead of the championship.

Ghana will face Cape Verde, Egypt and Mozambique in Group B, while, Namibia clash with Tunisia, Mali and South Africa in Group E.

The international friendly game is scheduled for 8pm kick off at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Monday, January 08, 2024.
