    Dreams FC has booked a semi-final berth against Egyptian heavyweights, Zamalek after securing a triumphant qualification over, Stade Malien.


    The host overpowered their guest away from courtesy of a brace from experienced forward, John Antwi in a game that ended 2-1 in the favor.

    In the reverse fixture, they managed a 1-1, Yoro Diaby with the opener for the visitors, and an equalizer from Sylvester Simba ensured a 3-2 aggregate victory over the Malian club at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
    Similarly, Zamalek’s 3-2 aggregate over Egyptian club, Modern Future FC by the same score line.

    The first leg of the tie will be played in Cairo on April 21 with the reverse fixture set for Kumasi, a week later.
    The Dawu-based club became the third side since Hearts of Oak and Kotoko carved a path in the inaugural CAF Confederation Cup competition in 2004.
