Semenyo was initially benched due to illness before the match, but Iraola called upon the industrious striker following a lackluster first-half performance from his team.

The 24-year-old entered the game in the second half, replacing Alex Scott, and collaborated with fellow substitute to secure the winning goal ten minutes from full time.

“In the second half, a probably more open contest and in the end Antoine and Justin they made the difference…the subs gave us more energy.’

“Milos, Antoine, Justin, even Max (Aarons) to close the game, and its good because we are finishing strong, scoring goals late and we have to continue.”
