Veep Bawumia gifts King Faisal new bus

Ghana Premier League club King Faisal babies are new owners of a 39-seater bus from Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Mahamudu Bawumia.

This gesture comes off following repeated passionate appeals from the bankroller of the club,Alhaji Karim Grunsah to Manhyia on two separate occasions as well as the public for support for a new bus considering the bad state of their old bus ahead of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.

The club in recent times relied on renting buses for their away fixtures games in the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League.

In a recent interview with Accra-based Happy FM, the outspoken football administrator confirmed receipt of the bus from the second most powerful man in the country.

“It is true, I have received a bus from the Vice president Alhaji Bawumia. We have received a 39-seater VVIP bus from him”.

“He called me into his office and gave me the bus. He said he has heard a lot about me and decided to help me”

“We went to show him the particular bus we wanted, and he agreed to get it for us. The bus was registered in 2017″.

“This is a great motivation for the entire team for us to do well in the league. We will brand the bus nicely”. He added.

This bus couldn’t come at a good time, as the club have in the past been bedeviled with financial constraints.

King Faisal will be buoyed by this gesture as they play host to Aduana Stars in matchday two of the league at their adopted venue, Ohene Ameyaw Park following their opening defeat at Sogakope against WAFA.
