The Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Professor Peter Twumasi, has been sacked immediately.

This development came to light after he was invited to the Jubilee House to answer a mirage of questions to the seat of government.

After that crucial meeting, it has now come to the fore that the answers he provided were not satisfactory enough hence the need for his appointment to be terminated with immediate effect.

Mr. Dodzie Numekevor has been handed the arduous task of replacing Mr. Twumasi in the capacity of NSA boss.

Prof Twumasi took over the reins of the National Sports Authority as Director General on December 10, 2018, replacing Robert Sarfo Mensah.
