Milot Pokuaa scored twice and was named MVP as Ampem Darkoa Ladies secured a place in the final of the 2026 WAFU B Women’s Champions League Qualifiers with a commanding 4-1 victory over FC Dynamique.
The Ghanaian champions produced another impressive performance in the semi-finals, taking control of the game early and eventually sealing their place in Saturday’s final.
Pokuaa opened the scoring in the 17th minute before Rebecca Assemani doubled Ampem Darkoa’s advantage in the 28th minute.
Gloria Adomako then added a beautiful third goal in the 38th minute as the Nana Mma headed into the break with a commanding 3-0 lead.
FC Dynamique pulled one back shortly after the restart in the 47th minute, but Pokuaa struck again in the 66th minute to complete her brace and seal a convincing 4-1 victory.
The win sets up another meeting with Nigerian side Edo Queens, whom Ampem Darkoa Ladies defeated 2-1 in their final Group B match to finish top of the group.
Ampem Darkoa came from behind in that encounter, with Rebecca Assemani scoring the equaliser before Milot Pokuaa’s direct free kick completed the comeback against the Nigerian side.
Edo Queens, meanwhile, booked their place in the final after an emphatic 5-1 victory over USFA in the other semi-final.
Saturday’s final on September 5 will therefore present Edo Queens with an opportunity for revenge, while Ampem Darkoa Ladies will be hoping to repeat their group-stage success and reclaim the WAFU B title.
The winner of the tournament will earn WAFU B’s sole qualification ticket to the CAF Women’s Champions League.
