A former skipper of Kotoko, Godwin Ablordey has advised new signing Mohammed Alhassan to avoid upsetting Hearts of Oak supporters.

The hard-tackling defender was recently released from the Accra-based club based on a number of issues only to be snapped by one of the Porcupine fraternity.

In light of his recent switch to the Kumasi, the former captain advised, Alhassan to concentrate on his game and give the club his former side the needed respect whenever the two teams clash.

“His time has come to leave Hearts of Oak and join Asante Kotoko,” Ablordey told Asante Kotoko.

“The small I have to tell him is that he has the opportunity to play for Asante Kotoko but he shouldn’t do anything to make Hearts of Oak fans angry.

“Even when he’s facing Hearts of Oak, we should do his work and make sure he respects them after the game because they gave him the platform before he came to Kotoko.

“He shouldn’t do anything that will cause any confusion.”

Mo Alhassan made his debut for Kotoko over the weekend against Nsoatreman in a goalless draw game and is in line to play against Aduana Stars in the MTN FA Cup at the Nana Agyemang Badu I.
