    Gabriel Osei’s lone goal was enough to help Samartex over the line against Hearts of Oak at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena on Sunday.

    Samartex needed a spark after suffering back-to-back defeats against Hearts of Lions and GoldStars, but they did not disappoint at home against the Rainbow boys.

    The first half ended goalless with little to choose from between the two teams.
    The home team looked the liveliest in possession and chances creation between the two teams.

    In a game that looked like it would end in a draw,  Gabriel Osei tapped in from close range for the game’s opener in the 72nd minute, much to the excitement of the home faithfuls.

    Samartex will travel next to Wenchi to face Young Apostles, while Hearts of Oak will play Medeama SC.
