Hearts of Oak shared the spoils at home against Bofoakwa Tano in week twenty of the Ghana Premier League at Sogakope.

The two teams are currently on opposing ends of the table, separated by nine points after nineteen games in the league.

The host dominated the early periods of the game, Congolese maestro Linda Mtange was at the heart of most of the attacking play for the Phobians.

In the 23rd minute of the game, he received a pass in the heart of midfield from Yaw Baafi and threaded one through to Salifu Ibrahim who dribbled past the opposing defender and fired a ferocious shot with his left foot to give the host a 1-0 lead heading into half time.

The half-time team by John Eduafor Jnr looks to have provided some morale for the visitors as they drew level in the 54th minute after a poor defensive clearance by Kofi Agbesimah newly installed captain for the Phobians.

The two sides pushed for the match-winner but at the end of the game proceedings, they settled for a point each.

The draw sees the Phobians on 28 points in the 8th spot while Bofoakwa Tano is still drooling in the relegation zone and will have to contend with Hearts of Lions in midweek for three points.
