I’m happy with the performance of Kotoko – Maxwell Konadu

Three Kotoko players included in Ghana squad to face Kenya

Ghana Black Stars assistant coach Maxwell Konadu says he is impressed with Asante Kotoko’s performances in their African campaign so far.

After the Anas documentary, Ghana Football was suspended, and a Normalization Committee was formed to bring stability and new face to Ghana Football.

Asante Kotoko wrote to the Normalization committee to permit them to take part in the CAF competition, they were given permission to play.

Maxwell Konadu praised Kotoko and efforts the club have made to reach this stage in their CAF Confederation Campaign.

“For me what they have done so far is never a failure and I’m happy with their performance thus far”

“I’m with the conviction that anyone who understands the game will equally appreciate their performance because the current squad has undergone a series of faces,” he told Medeama FM

“Coupled with the changes in the managerial department, it’s always difficult to get settled within a short period but I will say they have done a tremendous job”

Asante Kotoko will face Nkana FC on Sunday in Zambia as they will look to continue their fine form after beating Zesco United in Kumasi.
