Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko has declared his ambitions of taking on the role of the Black Stars job.
The Black Stars job has become vacant after Carlos Queiroz failed to finalize a new deal with the Ministry of Sports and Recreation.

This has led many to link the recently crowned GPL title winner to the vacant job.
In a recent interview with Ghanaian sports station Asempa FM, he did not hide his admiration for taking over the reins of the job if the offer is presented to him.
“If the Black Stars coaching opportunity comes and the authorities believe I’m the right man for the job, why not?”

Tanko managed the Black Meteors some time ago but failed to secure qualification for the Olympic Games.
