Godwin Attram has been appointed as assistant coach of the senior national team, Black Stars.
He has been appointed by the Football Association as replacement for Desmond Ofei.
The latter is expected to fully diversify his concentration and attention in grooming the Black Meteors, Ghana’s U23 National team for the Olympic qualifying games.
The Black Meteors is viewed as a springboard for players to transition to the main national team.
The appointment forms part of the GFA’s technical restructuring as the Black Stars prepare for the upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and other international assignments.
Attram is expected to bring his bags of his experience as a former player, youth team development coach to the main stream set-up.
The Black Stars would start their qualifying campaign against neighbouring Cote d’ivoire and later The Gambia.
