Brandon Thomas-Asante has received a late call-up to the Black Stars squad for the upcoming AFCON qualifiers.
The England-born striker did not make the initial list released by Carlos Queiroz despite his fine form for Coventry City in the ongoing English Premier League.
He has made five appearances in the Premier League for Coventry City this season, starting two of those matches and playing 230 minutes.
The versatile attacker will hope to impress the technical team in training as the team hears up for the 2027 qualifying campaign
The Black Stars will have a tough task dealing with Côte d’Ivoire away from home on Thursday before playing The Gambia on Sunday in the absence of Mohammed Kudus who has pulled out of the national assignment citing fitness issues.
