Fred Moore remains tight lipped on the details of Kofi Kordzi move abroad

Accra Hearts of Oak have all but lost on their prize asset, Kofi Kordzi to a move abroad.

The energetic striker wowed fans of the Ghana Premier League with his amazing display forming a deadly partnership with Joseph Esso in the recently canceled Ghana Premier League season.

It’s no doubt that his performances have caught the eye of Muaither SC, Qatar, who have splashed the cash to get their man, who has since departed to do his medicals and sign the dotted lines.

Reports making headways on the local font indicate that Accra Hearts of Oak will be the beneficiaries of a whopping $150,000.

However, Hearts’ CEO Fred Moore, insists that until everything about the Kofi Kordzi move is signed and sealed the clubs involved cannot make it official to the football public.

“When there is an announcement to make we’ll do it. We have already made the announcement that Kofi is gone for his medicals pending his move to his new club, when anything changes we will let you and the rest of the media know,”

How much they are paying us, for me, is not the most important thing. The player has got an opportunity to play outside Ghana and everybody who plays in Ghana, or 90 percent of those who play in the Ghana league whether premiership, first or second division their aim is to continue their career outside and Kofi has got a fantastic opportunity to do just that.

“That is good for him, it showed the tenacity, Kofi was spotted from a lower division league and was brought to Hearts of Oak, we gave him a platform and he’s been able to cope and done very well for the club and himself and that is the story and not the negative talk about his transfer,” Mr Moore hinted to GraphicSports
