Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz has sent a clear message to supporters ahead of tomorrow’s crucial match against The Gambia.
Addressing the media after several key squad members withdrew, the coach stated: “If you come tomorrow to cry for the ones that are not here or to say sorry for the ones that are not here, my advice is to stay home.”
The comment comes amid a wave of absences that have forced the side to reshuffle its lineup. Rather than dwell on the unavailable talent, the coach is demanding full focus on the players who remain ready to compete.
“This is about the group that will walk out there,” the coach added in the same press conference. “They deserve our energy, our support, and our belief—not apologies for who isn’t available.”
