    Dreams FC lost their final group game at the expense of Nigeria side, Rivers United in the CAF Confederations Cup.



    In the penultimate game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, they beat Club Africain through a lone goal to aid their chances of qualification.

    The Ghanaian side in the final game took the lead through enterprising midfield, Abdul Aziz Issah in the first half. 

    Deputy Echeta equalized after resuming the second half of the game to set up a frantic finale of the last group game of the CAF Confederations Cup.  

    Seth Agyemang was sent off in the 81st minute for a second bookable offense by the referee of the game which saw the away side playing the final minutes 90 with a man down. 

    Kazie Godswill scored the winner for the home side which saw them qualify for the next stage of the competition.

    The loss sees Dreams FC qualify for the quarter-finals alongside Rivers United from Nigeria as the two sides from their group ahead of Club Africain Tunisia and Academica from Angola.
