Medeama SC head coach Evans Adotey was a happy man as his side beat, Guinea outfit, Horoya AC in the second round of the CAF Champions League qualifying games at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

Adotey masterminded the host’s first-round qualifying win over Nigeria side, Remo Stars in a two-legged tie in the CAF Champions League tie.

It was least surprising that his boys put up a gallant display to see off their visitors in a four-goal thriller at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

Speaking at the post-match interview to highlight his assertion on the game, Adotey remarked that, his side made full use of the opportunities they created that helped them to the victory over Horoya.

“We played against a very good side. Horoya we’re very physical today, they used their strength but I’m glad we took our chances today” he ended.

Three second-half goals from Nana Kofi Babil, Nurudeen Abdulai, and Kofi Asmah with a consolation from, Mohammed Lamine Fofana aided the host to a 3-1 victory over the Guinea side.
