Berekum Chelsea strike late to deny Asante Kotoko

Asante Kotoko failed to again in the Ghana Premier League as they were held by Berekum Chelsea once again on Sunday at the Golden City Park.

The Kumasi-based club are still searching for their first win at Berekum in ten years and will have to wait more longer to get it after Emmanuel Clottey’s last-minute goal broke the heart of the Porcupines.

Kwame Opoku opened the scoring in the first half for Kotoko after receiving a pass from Osman Ibrahim.

Asante Kotoko sta deep in the second half as Berekum piled the pressure and eventually scored with the last kick off the game.

Maxwell Konadu and his boys will go home with another point after scoring the first goal, again.
