GFA Communications Director,  Henry Asante Twum has cited injuries as part of reasons Black Stars coach Otto Addo gave for not qualifying for AFCON 2025. According to him, after Black Stars exit, coach Addo’s report detailed why the team failed to qualify for the AFCON 2025. Ibrahim Tanko is in line to take up the vacant coaching role at Ghana Premier League side, Medeama SC. The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku has been handed the nod to contest the Executive Council position of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) The CAF Review Committee after a series of background checks and investigations issued a green light after Mr. Okraku passed the integrity and eligibility test. Former Ghanaian international Sulley Muntari didn’t mince words as he dammed the poor state of the Ghana Premier League. John Ansah, has been elected the new Chairman of the association succeeding Kojo Fianoo.  He went head-to-head with Isaac Wilberforce Koomson for the Chairmanship position this year. At the end of the elections, Ansah pulled 96 votes out of the total 132 with Koomson getting 35 of the votes with one rejected. Phyllis Marku (94) beat Nana Amankwah (34) for Vice Chairman.
