The Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams has forewarned that Black Stars’ failure to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament should not be repeated again. Ghana failed to make it to the AFCON 2025 for the first time in two decades prompting lots of disappointment within the football circles in the country. Ghana Football Association has denied reports of holding a by-election to replace Gifty Oware-Mensah.  This week media reports went rife that the co-owner of Berry Ladies Football Club has not been present at Executive Committee meetings since the turn of the new year. Kotoko’s Interim Management Committee (IMC) Chairman, Nana Apinkra has voiced the club’s strong stance on not resuming football activities unless their proposals are fully addressed by the GFA. Asante Kotoko has confirmed the harrowing loss of one of its fans and other related violence at Nana and park against Nsoatreman FC. The two teams went head-to-head in the week nineteen Premier League clash.
