Ghana international Joseph Aidoo made a long-awaited return to the field over the weekend as Celta Vigo secured a 3-2 victory over Osasuna in the Spanish La Liga. The central defender had been away with a hamstring injury since May and was included in the travelling squad for the game against Osasuna. Libyan club Al Ahly Benghazi has signed Kotoko forward Albert Amoah.  The 23-year-old attacker joined the Porcupine Warriors from Accra Great Olympics ahead of last season and became an instant fan favorite. His technical abilities, energetic runs, amazing finishing prowess, and others were enough to set him apart from other forwards in the club and the league. The intelligent forward plundered 16 goals in 30 league appearances for Kotoko. Accra Hearts of Oak and Bibiani Gold Stars shared the points in week seven of the ongoing Ghana Premier League on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium. The home side created a myriad of chances through Hamza Issah, Rocky Dwamena, and Mawuli Wayo, but they all failed to make the most of those chances. Ghana Premier League side Nations FC have announced the mutual termination of head coach Kassim Ocansey Mingle’s contract.  The club confirmed the decision in an official statement released on Facebook shortly after the game, describing the move as a “mutual agreement.” “Nations FC has mutually parted ways with both Head Coach Kassim Ocansey Mingle and Assistant Coach Johnson Smith. We thank them for their service to the club. The club will not make any further comment,” the statement read. Major League Soccer suspended two players for a “potential violation of league rules” before their opening matches in the MLS Cup Playoffs this week. Los Angeles FC’s Yaw Yeboah and Columbus Crew’s Derrick Jones were placed on administrative leave pending review, the league said in a Saturday, Oct. 25 statement. MLS has so far declined to comment on why the players were suspended. Yeboah, 28, has played in 23 games across all competitions with a goal for LAFC in 2025. The Black Queens of Ghana have declined to train following several unpaid bonuses ahead of their 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers against Egypt.  The Queens beat Egypt away from home in a thumping 3-0 fixture.
