Akonnor, who led the national team for 21 months before his dismissal in 2021 but was not paid his salary for the job done. Black Stars Head Coach Otto Addo has asserted his happiness about the team’s performance despite losing to the bitter rivals, Nigeria, in the semi-finals of the 2025 Unity Cup at Brentford’s Gtech Community Stadium.
