The Black Galaxies earned their first win in an international friendly duel over Egypt U-20 at the Cairo International Stadium on Tuesday. Ghana Premier holders Asante Kotoko SC have parted ways with fullback Christopher Nettey, Sahara Football can confirm. The two parties were locked in negotiations for some months about extending the defender’s deal beyond his current contract which was near expiration on December 26, 2022. Hearts of Oak’s Gladson Awako has signed a one-year contract extension with the Accra-based club today valid until, 2024. Accra-based Legon Cities swept newly-promoted side Kotoku Royals FC off their feet in 3-0 drubbing at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.  The away side asserted a considerable level of superiority over their host and it was least surprising to see them race to a 2- 0 lead in the first half with goals from forward, Jonah Attuquaye and Kofi Kordzi. Former Black Stars forward Prince Tagoe has been detained until January 4, 2023. The Ghanaian forward was detained following accusations leveled against him by Ghana Black Stars assistant coach, George Boateng of defrauding him of $40,000.
